Dinosaur Discovery & Preparation Experience

Australia’s ultimate hands-on Dinosaur experience where you can get your hands dirty and be a part of the team uncovering 95 million-year-old bones in the laboratory of Australia’s biggest dinosaurs. These dinosaur fossils have been excavated from the Eromanga fossils fields, home to Australia’s largest dinosaurs.

A museum Fossil Technician will guide you through this fascinating experience bringing the past into the present. Our one hour guided tour is a hands-on tour through the Eromanga Natural History Museum (ENHM) workshop, dinosaur, and megafauna laboratories and collection room.

You will be trained by experienced Fossil Technicians who gently guide you through all the different stages of fossil preparation you may encounter. Our Fossil Technicians are locals who have themselves been trained by experts at the ENHM and Queensland Museum and have worked on the ENHM digs and in the laboratories for many years.
